Initial Consultation
Your journey begins with a private one-hour clinical appointment. This essential first step is led by an experienced clinician with a consultant present, ensuring a thorough and supportive initial review of your history and concerns.
Neurodevelopmental Review
Following your consultation, you will receive a comprehensive neurodevelopmental assessment and questionnaire to complete safely from home. This gathering of history allows us to understand your journey in detail before our next meeting. Please take your time to provide a full picture of your experiences.
Clinician Review Session
Once your neurodevelopmental assessment is complete, you will meet with your clinician online for a detailed discussion. This 1-2 hour session is a safe space to go over your answers together and explore your history in more depth. It is a key part of our collaborative process to ensure we understand your unique experience fully.
Detailed Screening
Support Network
For assessments involving children, we may contact the school for additional observations with parent permission. This collaborative approach ensures that the assessment encompasses every aspect of the patient's daily life.
Expert Multi-Disciplinary Review
Once the questionnaires are complete, our clinical team meets to discuss the findings in detail. This ensures a comprehensive, multi-perspective review of the patient's assessment before the clinician completes the final report.
Post-Diagnostic Planning
The final stage is your post-diagnostic meeting. This is a supportive space to discuss the findings of your assessment and explore what the results mean for you or your child. We provide clear guidance on next steps, including tailored recommendations for ongoing support and specialist referrals if required.
